The 2015 Leather Card

It was a struggle finding even one suitable photo for this year's Leather card. A strange pair of boots in the "Steam Punk Gothic" style seemed as good an excuse as any to wear Vera's three color riding suit.

No you're not seeing things! That strange rubber serape is actually a pair of all-rubber waders. Maybe next year they'll make it to full Rubber Carded status!

This year, I'm using scans of each card as the page foundation, with the usual links to other versions and sometimes alternative choices.

The 2015 Red Rubber Card

I ran across this colorful wetsuit while “conducting research” on eBay. How can a man resist something actually proclaimed as "Rocket Science"? The boots are Hunter Wellies, in their burgundy color, I believe.

All of the photographs on this and the two following cards were taken by my good friend Danin. It was a miraculous gathering in a couple of ways. I actually changed gear once. And, at great personal cost, I smiled (some)!

OOh — So Slickery!

I've an almost closetted interest in Lycra. Some of the best suits are almost claustrophobic, and I'm afraid best enjoyed on someone else! But this little black and yellow suit wasn't quite as edgy, while being fully as bulgy. Photos are equally divided between my Great Room and the Tower Room.
