There've been a bunch of people who've done this. I can't claim to be the first, and probably not even achieved the most layers, now! But three years ago, it seemed a great way to put some miles on my new Canon digital camera! Some of these photos have been shared on Rubbermen.com and I hope they won't be too unhappy at my recycling my own photos for perhaps new people to see!
It all started with a partially modified hood and I think latex tank top and briefs with anatomical sheath. Much to my photographer's amusement, my "modesty" prevented any record of that "foundation" being built. My snuggest full suit being the Quintana Roo, of course it got the first neoprene layer position.

Well!! I didn't know anyone was watching! Just a bit of a comfort adjustment, folks. Remember, this is only the second of about six layers over my poor basket! |
Lookin' pretty good, if I do say so. The latex hood resembles a motocross helmet, in a strange rubbery way. |
This is the first misstep, but a necessary one. I'm pulling the Beuchat full suit up over the Quintana Roo, just to get it in place properly. |
Yep! Had to drop the sleeves back down to pull the Beuchat hooded vest on. First tough part, but J-lube helped a lot! |
Well, the Beuchat hooded vest is in place, now let's get the suit back up! Pesky wrinkles!! Don't know if I'll ever get them all worked out. You say I have two more suits to go after this one? Oh, dismay<G>! |
My photographer shared a diver's secret with me. If you turn the suit inside out, and roll the rubber on against itself, it works much easier. Tricky part is starting the legs. That wadded up neoprene around my legs is the Ironman! |
I'm finding that "easy" is a relative term! This is five photos after the previous one, and I guess I have the legs on! |
Another ten photos, and I've got one sleeve on! And despite all of this strenuous effort, and no JockUps, my bulge is sort of makin' it! |
This may be the second misstep. I thought it would be real neat for the booties to be trapped under the last neoprene layer on my legs. |
Here's the Squirm Suit halfway up over the Ironman. And look Ma, bare legs! It was really going to be stretch to get the new Squirm Suit up over even my thin ankles, once they were covered in neoprene!
Wow! We've left poor Harold in a bunch of Hot Rubber, and still a long way to go! Be sure to check out the next page as he completes his layers and does some polishin' and posin'! Here's the link to Rubber Onion, Page Two . . . . |
