I think we're still near the Rubber Creek, maybe adjacent to the Fazzio Falls. The deep shadows don't hide that deep bulge at all, do they? |
We're just south of the Falls now, that's the big bent Live Oak's trunk behind us. |
Just a few feet from the last pose, but the scenery changes fast. We're probably almost over the Rubber Creek now. |
A late picture of one of my earliest practical wetsuits made by Performance. I bought five of these from Sportsman Guide, with each modified differently. I think the almost visible green rubber boots are the Guide Gear, also from Gary Olen's Sportsman Guide. I'm probably standing in the seriously overgrown Leather Oaks Pond! |
Just a hint of bulge in this fairly thick suit. This one includes an early but effective basket modification. I inserted a slightly larger piece of neoprene when the original crotch got damaged. Bet you wouldn't have caught it I hadn't warned you! |
I still think we're in the pond, but there's almost nothing to go by. |
There now, didn't I tell you we were in the pond? Here's Pipe, my first water feature almost hidden in the Papyrus plants. These pictures were taken in December 2006. There was a major cleaning and rebuild of the pond the next spring! |
A crossover photo. Of course, the Orca is self named, but the interesting Biker Highway pants are Hein Gericke, I believe. When I bought this vintage item, the suspenders were long gone. So I fashioned my own pair from inner tube scraps. |
The boots are East German surplus. Why was I wearing two belts AND suspenders? The pants had belt loops, so I had to use those. And why not add a small lifting belt? |
I'm sure everyone has figured out these photos were all made near the Bridge over Lake Orin. The date was the end of January 2007. |
