An elevated view of the Leather Oaks Pond When you're 30 feet up in the air, views you thought you knew become more interesting. The Louisiana iris were still in bloom, so the area was more colorful than later in the season.
     Wow! The water looks pretty clear. I wonder if we get closer, maybe there might be some livestock visible. You know, like fish? Closer to the Pond
Pond-side view      I see a few glimpses of gold, don't you? It appears that the aquatic vegetation is still recovering from winter, though. Is that my piping boy hidden way over in the corner?
